Quality Analyst - Full-time
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence if required. Effective oral and written communications are integral to the position. Strong math skills and the ability to calculate figures and percentages utilizing Excel. Background or experience with statistics highly preferred. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations. Ability to work with frequent interruptions and to maintain accuracy of information. To perform this job successfully, an individual requires strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Office. Strong organizational skills required. Ability to type 50 wpm with accuracy and proficiency. Proficient in creating graphs and charts for reporting data.
Reporting to the Advanced Analytic and Artificial Intelligence Manager, the Quality Improvement Analyst is responsible for the management of quality data within the department and works collaboratively to assist Clinical and Ancillary Services throughout the Organization in the management of statistical data, to meet evolving needs of the organization. The Quality Analyst is responsible for planning, designing and developing system reports that support the core department responsibilities including those necessary for the timely management of data to meet voluntary and mandatory reporting requirements (regulatory). This includes data gathering, analysis, trending, generating and compiling reports based on the findings, to be reported in the best readable or presentable format, to meet the needs of the audience.
Must be able to work normal/scheduled working hours which may include Holidays, call-backs, weeknights, weekends, and on-call in the Director's absence. Agrees to participate, as directed, in emergencies and community disasters during scheduled and unscheduled hours.
