Job Description

Must have a minimum of 3 years of graphic design experience or a Bachelor's Degree in design, graphic design or related area with a minimum of 2 years of professional experience. Must possess excellent communication and project management skills, along with the ability to work under constant deadlines. Demonstrates a working knowledge of print production and a thorough working knowledge of preparing documents for printing. Possesses excellent design skills with a strong attention to detail, quality and proofreading with a degree of creativity. Demonstrates working knowledge of software packages for graphic design, including Adobe Creative Suite, Quark and Microsoft Office. Experience in web design is a plus, but not required. Experience in photography and video is a plus, but not required.

Responsible for working cooperatively with district public relations and marketing staff to produce communications materials that effectively represent Sierra View Medical Center. Provides design and art services and maintains the graphic standards of the hospital. Responsible for the layout and design of a variety of documents such as forms, brochures, newsletters, logos, stationery, invitations, flyers and presentations.

Must be able to work normal/scheduled working hours to include Holidays, call-backs, weeknights, weekends, and on-call. Agrees to participate, as directed, in emergencies and community disasters during scheduled and unscheduled hours.
