Cook - Dietary

*Shift:  DAY Shift

POSITION SUMMARY:

  • Under the general direction of the Food & Nutrition Service Director, the Cook functions in all food preparation and provides direction in the absence of Food Service leadership.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/License/Certification:
  • Should have high school diploma or equivalent
  • SerSafe is highly preferred.  

Experience/Skills:
  • Cooking experience preferred for at least two years in large scale institutional/commercial cooking industry. 
  • Hospital food service experience preferred.
  • Serv safe certificate preferred.
