Contract Specialist

*Shift: Days

POSITION SUMMARY:
  • Reporting to the VP of Quality and Regulatory Affairs, with subject-matter oversight from the Financial Strategy and Contracts Administrator, the Conract Specialist provides project management for coordinating and managing the contract management system. This position is also responsible for ensuring proper flow, timeliness, and execution of the District's contracts.  This position will be responsible for the tracking, renewal, and quaility of the District's contracts.  Additionally this position will initiate and execute contracts on behalf of the District under the oversight of the Contract Administrator.  This position will also perform service line assessments as well as project proformas with oversight by the Contract Administrator.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS:

Education/License/Certification:
  • Must have a Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in Accounting, Finance, Business, or Healthcare Administration OR 5 years of contract writing-related experience.
Experience/Skills:
  • Must have 5 years of contract writing-related experience.
 
  • Must have the ability to perform service line analysis as well as project proformas. Makes judgments, coordinates project teams, and takes reasonable action required to accomplish project objectives with minimal direct supervision. 
 
  • Requires significant capacity to manage multiple competing objectives and to communicate complex technical information in understandable terms to management and other personnel of Sierra View Medical Center.
