Registered Nurse - Dialysis - Full time
Minimum of one year recent acute care Registered Nurse experience required.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have and maintain current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state of California. One year of recent appropriate nursing practice within past three (3) years. Must have and maintain current BLS certification or obtain within orientation process, prior to hands-on patient care.
Under the supervision of the Dialysis Unit Director delivers safe and therapeutic dialysis treatment to the acutely ill patient in conjunction with the philosophy of the School of Nursing. Contributes to the Sierra View District Hospital Department of Hemodialysis and the nursing profession in a positive manner.
Is responsible for the assessment, treatment and care appropriate to the ages of the patients served, i.e., Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric. Demonstrates the ability to obtain and interpret information in terms of the patient’s needs; possesses knowledge of growth and development; and has an understanding of the range of treatment needed for these patient groups.
Must be able to work normal/scheduled working hours to include Holidays, call-backs, weeknights, weekends, and on-call. Agrees to participate, as directed, in emergencies and community disasters during scheduled and unscheduled hours.

This position has variable hours. Must have open availability including nights.
